Election 2021 Virtual Town Hall

Faith communities are committed to supporting and encouraging responsible citizenship. CPJ, along with the Martin Luther University College’s Centre for Public Ethics; the Bahá’í Community of Canada; and the Centre Oblat – A Voice for Justice are organizing an election virtual town hall meeting.

The town hall will be a conversation on four pressing issues facing Canada: Reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples; the climate crisis; poverty and growing inequality; and xenophobia, including racial and religious intolerance. Each of four issues will be introduced by a recognized speaker in the field, and political party representatives will be asked to respond.

You’re invited to register for this event and encourage people from your community and networks to join us. A Faithful Election Conversation 2021 will be posted on YouTube and available for you to host a faithful election conversation in your faith community.
