CPJ members say: “We’re Better Together!”

While politicians and political leaders are distracting from the real causes of problems such as the housing crisis by blaming immigrants and pitting people against each other, Canadians are coming together to say: we’re better together!

CPJ is partnering with the Canadian Council for Refugees and their campaign, We’re Better Together, to unify our voices and tell the public and our elected officials, that we as Canadians are proud to welcome newcomers.

We want to work towards a Canada that includes safety and flourishing for all people. Whether we were born in Canada or elsewhere in the world, we all want what’s best for our families. Here in Canada, we need to commit to treating others the way we want to be treated so that everyone can be safe and flourish; everyone deserves the support they need to thrive. Our Canada includes refugees and migrants.
