Across Canada, people in Christian communities are learning about and reflecting on Reconciliation with Indigenous peoples. Many have had meaningful experiences in workshops and presentations, and have heard important truths about our collective responsibility to address past and present injustices.
But many are often left with the questions: what can we actually do to advance Reconciliation? What next steps can we take?
Citizens for Public Justice is inviting interested persons across Canada to take the next step in their Reconciliation journey by signing up for our new program, From Land Acknowledgements to Action.
What is From Land Acknowledgements to Action?
From Land Acknowledgements to Action is a campaign program in which CPJ staff are working directly with Christian communities to develop practical reconciliation action plansโhelping you translate faith and concern into real advocacy that pushes governments toward change. Together, we are carrying out the calls from leading Indigenous rights lawyer John Olthuisโ landmark 2026 book On Dismantling Settler Colonialism.
For the communities that join us, we will walk together to deepen our actions for reconciliation and decolonization.
