StatsCan looking to redefine poverty line

Nearly 3.5 million Canadians are living below the poverty line, according to Statistics Canada. But Canada’s poverty line currently excludes Indigenous people living on-reserve and those living in the territories. CPJ’s Natalie Appleyard spoke to Global News about StatsCan’s forthcoming updates to Canada’s measure of poverty.
