Citizens for Public Justice (CPJ) is excited to propose a fun way for justice-working people in Ottawa to connect and check out our Justice House!
“Just Drinks” would be an informal event hosted at our Justice House at 334 MacLaren Street (between Bank and O’Connor). Guests would be invited from our networks and coalitions working on justice issues. These would not be publicly advertised events, but we would welcome you to invite other friends and partners. This would be a time to relax, build relationships, and maybe even hatch some plans for further collaboration!
Guests will be invited to “BYOBeverages” and CPJ will provide some non-alcoholic drink options and light snacks. We will ask guests to share any allergies or dietary restrictions before each event.
While CPJ is fundraising and discussing options with contractors to make the first floor of our building accessible, please note that our heritage building/house is not yet accessible. The event will span the second and third floors, requiring guests to go up and down stairs.
We would love to know if you’d be interested in attending “Just Drinks” events, including a proposed inaugural Just Drinks event at the end of November! Please fill out this very short survey to help us choose days and times that would work for the most people. Comments and suggestions also welcome!
Thanks for taking the time to share your input! We hope to see you at the Justice House soon!
