Abbotsford: Faithful Election Conversations
On Friday, April 4 from 7-8:30 PDT, join Citizens for Public Justice at New Life Christian Reformed Church in Abbotsford for Faithful Election Conversations. At the event, we’ll hear from CPJ policy experts about key issues of interest to Canada’s faith communities: climate change, poverty, and immigrant, refugee, and migrant rights.
How might our faith shape the way we engage in public life, particularly as we approach the next federal election?
What could the vision of all people and all creation flourishing together look like in our communities and in Canada, and how can we bring that vision to life?
We invite you to join policy experts from Citizens for Public Justice as we come together in community for shared learning and conversation.
Together, we’ll explore prevalent narratives and relevant evidence around key election issues and political engagement in general, considering how people of faith can work together for justice and mutual flourishing.
This in-person event is a great opportunity to engage in thought-provoking conversations with fellow community members. Please fill out the form below to register.
We look forward to seeing you there!
