Citizens for Public Justice (CPJ) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor impairments. We are continually working to improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

CPJ website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the website do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

You should be able to:

  • Navigate most of the website using a keyboard
  • Navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • Use most of the website using a screen reader
  • Zoom in up to 400% without problems
  • Change colours, contrast levels, and fonts using browser functionality

  • Most videos don’t have captions
