It’s never been more important to uphold the rights of refugees and migrants in Canada. This fall, we’re calling on you to join us in the CPJ Ride for Refuge, where we’re fundraising to for refugee and migrant rights, and to keep advocacy for them strong!
What we’re doing
On October 3rd, we’re gathering in downtown Ottawa (and at satellite events across the country) for the CPJ Ride for Refuge.
Teams of CPJ supporters are collecting fundraising pledges right now. Those who fundraise will celebrate their achievement at the CPJ Ride for Refuge, where we will enjoy a day in a park along the Rideau River with a provided picnic lunch to follow!
In addition to fundraising to support CPJ’s refugee and migrant rights work, we will be announcing an advocacy campaign that we’ll ask all involved to join us for—stay tuned for your chance to raise your voice with us for refugee and migrant rights!

How to get involved
Why we’re doing it
At a time when conversations about immigration are increasingly focused on numbers, targets, and economics, CPJ is working to keep dignity, justice, and welcome at the centre of the conversation.
Through research, advocacy, public engagement, and direct policy work with decision-makers, we’re pushing for a Canada where refugees and migrants are treated with dignity and where our policies reflect our values of welcome and belonging.
Your fundraising through the Ride for Refuge helps make that work possible.
Last year, our community showed us what we can accomplish together. This year, let’s more than double it.
