NATION TO NATION is the new updated version of a 1992 edition which sold over 8,000 copies. It includes 18 new articles and updates to 10 first-edition articles. Several contributors are drawn from PJRC’s ranks: Lorraine Land, Murray Angus, Roger Townshend and Tim Schouls.

Aboriginal leaders such as Georges Erasmus, Olive Dickason and Rod Robinson outline their perspectives on key issues in NATION TO NATION. Contributors also include non-native experts such as Terry Glavin and Michael Asch. The result is a powerful, provocative overview of Aboriginal-Canadian relations, including proposals for the future.

The Innu struggle, residential schools, the Nisga’a treaty, land claims, women and self-government, the birth of Nunavut, solidarity strategies – just some of the topics covered.
