The Renewed Canadian Welcome Book Tour: Vancouver – Simon Fraser University
It’s time to have a different conversation about refugees and migrants in Canada. Citizens for Public Justice is proud to support the launch of A Renewed Canadian Welcome: Eleven Visions from Migrants and Advocates, published by McGill-Queen’s University Press.
Born of the work of CPJ, A Renewed Canadian Welcome brings together leading scholars and activists to help readers understand the barriers facing refugees and migrants in Canada, movements for human-rights based policies, and moments that have successfully shifted Canada’s immigration policies towards compassion and justice.
The Vancouver – Simon Fraser University stop on our Renewed Canadian Welcome Book Tour will feature Dr. Evelyn Encalada Grez and Cenen Bagon.
Copies of A Renewed Canadian Welcome will be available for purchase at the event—but to get your hands on a copy before the event, buy your copy through CPJ and support our refugee and migrant rights work!
